I have had some amazing guest's throughout 2011, and we are not done yet! We're finishing off the year in style, with some serious TECHNO from Binary404 Label boss, and much sought after Producer, Remixer and DJ - ALEX DI STEFANO !!!! ►Biography Alex Di Stefano was born in 1977 in Italy. He has been a dj, producer and musician since 1994.His first dance tunes (DayDream - Thinkin' About You (1994), DayDream - Through The Night (1995)) have been very successful in all Europe. In 1998/2000 Alex begins to move towards a more techno-trance sound, releasing tunes such as Mizar EP - Volcano, Mizar EP II, The Brat - Animal Kingdom, Shado - The Flute, Hesperia Ep - Blue Waves and many more. In 2003 he begins his experience in Digital Team Studio - Altromondo Studios, Rimini, where he comes to the fore by introducing very innovative sounds and by producing many successful tracks, such as Mash - In Your Arms , Mash - One Day, Mash - Oak Island, Mash - Be My Girl. He is also involved in many other projects under different pseudonyms. The year 2007 marks a turning point in Alex's career, as he begins to produce tracks for Gio MBG International's 9Records and for many other well-known labels.
Lately, many high-level tracks have been released: Umek - Dementia (Alex Di Stefano & Dyno Remix),Alex Di Stefano & Simone de Caro - Who?, Alex Di Stefano - Something Is Movin', Dyno & Alex Di Stefano - Sutura, Interactive - Who Is Elvis (Alex Di Stefano & Simone De Caro Remix)... In 2009 Alex's own label - Binary404 - was born, with the contribution of Gio MBG International. Alex takes care of the A&R and of the managerial aspects. At the tender age of 21 Petrae managed to secure a residency at the globally renowned Godskitchen and was a main room resident there for two years, playing alongside the likes of, Mauro Picotto , Mistress Barbra, Fergie , James Zabelia, Scarlett Etienne, and last but not least the almighty Carl Cox! That is where a young Petrae Foy met Carl Cox for the first time, playing a 4hr warm up for him, six months later Petrae read that he was named Carl’s DJ of the year 2004 at the age of only 23. If that wasn’t enough to boast about, he has already got 3 Global Gatherings under his belt, Homelands on the Radio 1 Sound Stage playing alongside Paul Oakenfold, Timo Mass, Fergie and Seb Fontaine. One of Manchester's most exciting team of Producer's TEMPERED DJS taking to the Deck's to provide a wicked Guest Mix for Gemma's Show! Techno Time!! Taking their name from material that’s bulletproof the heavy-hitting Tempered DJs (Pete Stanley and Mike Knapper) are exactly that! Their sonic fusion is as fired up as Eddie Halliwell and as tooled up as Mark Knight. A super-talented, technically tight twosome, whose signature sound knows no bounds, they blast out beats with a bass-shuddering twist. Uber-DJs, such as Carl Cox, Erick Morillo and Paul van Dyk, as well as the aforementioned Eddie and Mark, all pledge support for their productions, and they repeatedly storm the charts of Beatport, Trackitdown and DJdownload. Tempered’s ‘That Picotto Track’ even ranked in Trackitdown’s Top 20 Tech House Tracks of 2009. Tom Hades started to discover and experiment with electronic music when listening to DAF, Kraftwerk, Front 242, ... At the age of 15, he bought his first keyboard, the famous Casio CZ-101 and transformed his game-computer, Amiga 500, into his first DAW. Quickly he got experienced with MIDI-integration and sampling functions, which gave him even more urge for buying/selling new material as addition to his current setup. During the same period, his old schoolfriend, RedHead, was co-producing with Marco Bailey. He got in contact with Marco too which led them in 2000 to their first corelease. And this was the start of a big period of releases, included the anthem of "I Love Techno" in 2001. Have a look at the discography for the complete overview ... In the same year as I Love Techno, Tom started to do live performances. He got more & more experienced and started to play all over the world. His live performance was fully appreciated in countries like Spain, Colombia, Brazil, France, Poland, Sweden, Mexico, Japan, Austria, Italy, Norway, Ireland, ... and on many known festivals like Nature One, I Love Techno, City Parade, ... In the first period of 2002, Tom also produced his first solo release. In the next years he continued to produce tracks on his own as well as his co-production with Marco on respected labels like MB Elektronics, Drumcode, Bedrock, Tronic, Excentric Musik, 1605, Pornographic Recordings, Rhythm Convert(ed), Lupp, ... In 2004, they decided it was time to take the next step, start a label. And so Rhythm Convert was born. Initially, the purpose of the label was to give an opportunity to new talents to release their stuff. After a long break of releasing Tom restarted the label again in 2010. Many big artists already signed to the label so loads & loads to come in the future !! Guys like Virgil Enzinger, Submerge, Alan Fitzpatrick, The Advent & Industrialyzer, Brian Sanhaji as well as Axel Karakasis, Spiros Kaloumenos, Veztax, ... did a very good job to show the people what is was all about. End 2004, Marco & Tom released their full album, Rude Boy, caused a stirr all over the world. The best proof was their live performance during Nature One @ Pydna were they literally "blew the place to kingdom come" ! In the year 2009 E=mc2 was released as a second album on MB Elektronics. Recognized worldwidely by the big players in the scene the album surely proofed the quality of the release. His current releases on labels like MB Elektronics, Rhythm Convert(ed), Bedrock and Drumcode are oriented in the same way his musical taste changes: intelligenter way of drum programming with flavors of techno, minimal and tekhouse. Nowadays, Tom can be booked as a dj or a live-set performance. You can expect dj-sets with dedication and filled with energy, as known from his live-sets, to give his fans the pleasure of clubbing ! The inspiring and unique talent MR HENRY VON bring's his fusion of Deep House, Percussive grooving Tech House and Rhythmic Underground Techno to my show! Mr Henry Von is a DJ and producer with an identity crisis of a musical nature, his sets embrace a mixture of next-level house and techno, a fusion of the menacing and the twisted whilst deep feeling rhythms mutate with peculiar sounds and emotions. The only thing is; he's just not sure what to call it. A futuristic strain of acid house perhaps, awash with colours, grooves and feeling? Or maybe more simply it's just underground dance music, an audio blueprint designed to kick start the late night party we find ourselves in. Nothing shows this slice of social schizophrenia better than the 2 labels he runs with Fergie; 'Rekluse' has a taste for the dark and the chunky side of techno whilst 'Tribal Rage' heads for a more deep-edged tech house sound. His productions also sit and hit somewhere in between, with regular support coming in from the highest authorities in Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Luciano, Marco Carola, Tom Findlay (Groove Armada) and Gregor Tresher amongst others, he's also remixed Umek, Christian Smith & Reset Robot, Erphun and there's 3 reworks of Fergie under his belt His sound and talent has been shared around the world, celebrating life by playing the best music he's ever heard at places like; Privilege (Ibiza), Ministry Of Sound (London), Sullivan Room (New York), The Arches (Glasgow), Stiff Kitten (Belfast), Custard Factory (Birmingham), Stinkys Peephouse (Leeds), Bam Bam (Barcelona), The Fuss (Cambridge), Hospital (Dublin) as well as a fairy-tale season in Ibiza as resident at the Excentric parties (a cause he fully remains a part of including managing the Excentric Muzik label). Gig’s from all over the world have been flowing nicely, Gemma is taking the International Circuit by storm! Seeing in the year 2010, headlining in Pune, India. With bookings for Bahrain, Egypt and Lebanon, and headlining the world’s biggest brand MINISTRY OF SOUND’s world tour’s, including Hurghada Egypt, tour’s of India, Dubai, Montpelier, Mauritius and France. Gemma made her Irish debut at one of Europe’s biggest festival’s in 2010. OXEGEN FESTIVAL, an event that attract’s over 90,000 reveller’s daily, being interviewed for IMTV - with her co-produced track "Sub-Sonic" opening up the festival! December 2011, saw Gemma make her long awaited German debut, something that Gemma had always wanted to do being a Techno dj - it's safe to say she definitely put her stamp on thing's and Germany lapped her up. More German gig's are to follow in 2012 including Gemma debuting at Ruhr In Love Open Air Festival! 2012 is already shaping up well, with VESTAX Europe asking Gemma to test drive their new Top Of The Range Software Controller - VCI 400! Gemma also has booking's lined up throughout Europe, starting with Zurich SWITZERLAND in Feb, and Zagreb CROATIA, Playing alongside Gemma's DJ idol JAMES ZABIELA on Easter Sunday for UBER CARLISLE, A new Residency starting in INDIA seeing Gemma out there every month, Fresh India Tour including also headlining again with one of her Idol's !
